so this has got to be the biggest dumb question ever.... how do you use a crock pot? how does it work? when do you put food in it? how long do you let it sit? is there one temp it stays at?
velveeta has these new ready meal things where u just add hamburger and chicken.. like hamburger helper but it looks more yummy. i picked one up but i haven't tried it yet so lol

Meat balls in sauce and u can make speggetti or meat ball subs no work ness! :-) or if ur up to it now u can make lazgna and freeze it...or stouffers (sp?) Makes great lazgna or chicken alfredo there chicken parm is good too and those are just toss in oven for about an hour and a half from frozen! Healthy too! Good luck hope it helps!
@letysfirst and @survivormommie3 Crockpots usually have 3 settings (high, low, and warm) and how long the food sits depends on the recipe and the heat level. I have a crockpot cookbook that came in very handy when my boys were first born. I would prepare it the night before or morning of and keep it in the refrigerator until it needed to be cooked. it's Awesome!!
London broil in the crock pot is my fav. throw a beef roast, 2 large cans of cream of mushroom soup, and a can of beef broth put it on low for like 8 hours. Make rice as a side. You can also throw veggies in there. we made crock pot ribs lastnight. Also in the meat isle they have a ready to make crock pot package for beef roast and pork roast. Everything you need is in it. The roast, veggies and seasoning. Its good.you can also make casoroles(sp)
@Rissalee7 It's a good idea to make meals that are easily frozen, like @camommy said...it makes things much easier! If you'd rather cook a meal there are plenty of great recipes available...is there any food that you and your family really like to cook with (such as ground beef or chicken) that you would want recipes for...?
