What is an ok #
What is a ok number or braxton hix contractions or contractions in general for 23 weeks 6 days?? I have been getting them daily since about 20 weeks but the past two days they have been between 5-10 a hour.. For about a hour then none for like 6 hours then it happens again.. Some are extreamly painful. This is my second pregnancy, should I be worried??

@xfirsttimemomx they usually start from 20 weeks on.. But its ok if sooner.
My doctor says if I have more then 4 an hour to call them.

Play it safe and don't try to make the diagnosis yourself. If you haven't hit 37 weeks yet and you're having more than four contractions in an hour — or you have any other signs of preterm labor — call your caregiver immediately.

Called the hospital and even though I have a hostory of pre term labor they said wait til they are 3-10 minutes apart for an hour.. And consistant.. I had an infection that was causing them..I think some nurses are effin stupid.. I would just follow ur intuition.. If you feel like its one too many.. Go!
