sleeping on stomach

Im 17 weeks preggo and cant seem to stop sleeping on my stomach I catch myself sleeping on it and try not to get on it but I tend to always end up that way...I have a bump so I know I shouldn't ...but I cant understand why I sleep on my tummy with my first I stop sleeping on my tummy at four weeks lol...(nerves of a first time mommy lol) confused on what to do????

I slept on my stomach until I was 21 wks....my midwife said it was fine but at some point it got uncomfortable, now I stay on my back or side. the bigger your bump the less likely you'll roll onto lol

I so want tto sleep on mine I'm a first time mommy too and I didn't know how unsafe or safe it was im glad u asked that now I won't feel so bad now

Thanks all this is second pregnancy so cant understand why I do it this time didn't do it the first pregnancy

Look into a pregnancy pillow! I will never stop using this pillow, its like being in a cloud that supports my whole body, my husband tries to steal it LOL it keeps you sleeping on your side cause I kept sleeping on my stomach too totally worth it

Its def worth it, I'm 14 weeks but I was sleeping terribly but now that I have this I sleep really deep, hope it helps

The only thing I hate about the pillow is when u wanna turn over its such a project to fix the blanket lol besides that I love it

My midwife said its totally fine to sleep on ur tummy as long as its comfortable for u. The baby is safe

It is completely safe to sleep on ur stomach until you can't physically sleep that way anymore

Is a pregnancy pillow different than a body pillow? Just wondering. I've been using my daughters body pillow lol. She's obsessed w pillows so I took one hehe.

Body pillows help...alot!!! I tend to catch myself doing this also...i wake up && im on my stomach. After awhile i get a lil sore so i invested in a body pillow. I had one my last pregnancy (my 1st) but wounde up throwing it away b4 we moved! . I sleep betta now. Iam on complete bed rest so i wanna b az comfortable az i can. Lol

A pregnancy pillow wraps around you and in between your knees, Google it you'll see fabulous ones, the one I have wraps on both sides so you don't have to adjust it if you turn... It also turns into something you can use to help feed the baby, mine was about 70 and its easily the best purchase I've made so far
