spotting question. tmi maybe.

okay so im 7 weeks today and 4 days ago went to the ER cuz I had light bleeding (more than spotting). everything was fine so I went home and next day no more bleeding. well I just went to bathroom to pee and im spotting AGAIN! I dont know if I should be worried or just ignore. I will feel horrible if I ignore it and something happens or ill feel stupid if I go to er and nothings wrong. any insight is appreciated.

It could be nothing, but don't feel stupid if you do want to go to the ER. Do everything you can for baby's health. Good luck!

I had spotting the first 3 months even lots of cramping turned out I had a stressed uterus and was put on bed rest for 6 weeks. Just my story so take it easy lady

it just makes me feel stupid cuz when I went to the ER the doctor literally called me crazy. my husband just laughed. he has 2 kids but this is my first so im not sure whats normal.

well the nurse from the answering service said to rest and wait til my appt on the 28th that if something bad were to happen the ER couldnt prevent it. I told my hubby who is att work what was going on and he thinks im crazy too. he just laughed it off and told me to go to bed. the spotting atopped but I still got cramps. im so confused

I think im gna wait it out. if I start spotting again then ill call MY obgyn. same ob since I was 15. ill trust her opinion the most. my gut tells me to go to the er but for fear oh beinng brushed off again ill save the 100 dollar co pay and call in morning. thanks everyone.

Unfortunately there isn't anything they can do except give u the run around (from experience ) if they did a vag us yesterday then u could be spotting from that. Rest and keep ur ob on speed dial. I would much rather see my dr than er dr.

@eaparker i had vag ultrasound on the 12th. spotting this long after? i didnt really think of that cuz it was 4 days ago.

I spotted, light & heavy, off & on from weeks 7-10. Everything was fine. Doctor said she thought it was the placenta digging in.

This morning my specialist at maternal fetal medicine told me that any spotting at all needs to be called in immediately. Brown, red, a little, a lot. He didn't care. He just said to call. I like that guy.

@catben did u have like menstral cramps too cuz im crampin alot not severe but enough to keep me in bed.

No I did not have cramping. I know that cramping & bleeding is not good. I hope everything is ok.

It's good to call your dr if you are spotting, but the ER can't do anything, so I wouldn't go there, if you have an expensive copay. I had spotting for most of my first trimester, at weeks 4 and 7ish, I was actually convinced it was a period! I didn't find out I was pregnant until 8 weeks when my morning sickness was undeniable. My dr said the spotting was caused by an irritated cervix. So if your dr said not to worry, try to rest and wait it out. Good luck!

thanks everyone. she actually called me back a min ago i have to do a quant (spelling?) level check to see if levels are going up normally gotta call dr office in morning.

I spotted for almost a week after both my vag us. Getting ur levels checked will hopefully let them know what's going on.

I had exactly what youre describing and now I'm on bed rest due to subchronic bleeding, bit everyone is different. Call your obgyn if it doesn't stop. This is my first too, and my gut said go to er and I was brushed off and called my ob the next day. Do what you feel is right and good luck!

well I called my doctor today to schedule blood work they said spotting is normal and to wait til my appt on the 28. im so annoyed its not funny. had a lil bit of spottin today but it was short lived. dont know what else to do but wait.
