could this be the beggining of the end?

I've been havin speratic contractions all night, nothing too painful but feelings a lot of pressure in my pelvis and the feeling as if I need to #2 but can't. I've had a slight headache for 2 days and hot flashes....I have a 38 wk appointment at noon....I hope this is it bc I'm so ready. I need labor dust ladies and lots of it!

I'm feeling the exact same way but my midwiife says its just normal 38 weeks stuff as our bodies prepare to deliver. I need some labor dust too!! I'm 38+2 and miserable :-/

*update* doc said I'm almost 3cm and head is super low....contractions r too inconsistant to admit me but I am making progress....she hopes I go into labor on my own but if I don't she will do one last ultrasound on Thursday and induce Friday. I really don't want to b induced but I will if I have too.

Well contractions fizzeled out and I've only had a few pains here and there....had some spicy food, went swimming, had sex, walked, vaccumed and nothing is bringing the contractions back. Might try another dose of castor oil b4 bed tonight.....
