anyone else high risk?

edited February 2011 in High risk pregnancy
In Aug of 04 I delivered my beautiful daughter by emergency c-section due to a decrease in her heart tones and labor induced preeclampsia. After the delivery my daughter was perfectly fine but my hypertension never resolved on its own, in return I developed chronic hypertension. I am a paramedic and in great shape which tells my cardiologist that this is hereditary and not due to obesity or life style issues. My due date would be July 23rd but due to the high risk label I now carry, my dr has confirmed that I will have a scheduled cesarean at 36 weeks which brings my due date to June 23ish. Is anyone else going through this or has been through a high risk pregnancy? I am curious to know the details of how often, what will be done, how many scans I will have. Etc. Let me know! Thanks girls :)

At 22 weeks I got seen every 2 weeks, with sonograms every 2-3 weeks. By 30 weeks i was seen once a week. hope this helps!

Loss of pregnancies occurred at 21 weeks, 15 weeks, 12 weeks, two at 6 weeks, and a few before 5 weeks. All from different reasons. I have had a heap of blood work done and 5 ultrasounds so far. I am now in my 23rd week and everything looks good except the size of my munchkin. He's almost 3 weeks behind. But I am feeling better and more blessed than ever :)
