cant sleep.

edited June 2011 in Sleep
I've been having trouble sleeping since I started my second trimester. I can't get comfortable sleeping anyway. And sometimes I have to sleep on the floor just to get comfy and some nights I would finally fall asleep at 5am and than get up at 8 am. I've even tried the pillow to support my belly but being I really don't have a belly it doesn't work much for me nor sleeping on ky left side. Any suggestions on how to get comfy and sleep???

  • I'm having the same problem. I usually end up on my back which is most comfortable for me. I hear your back is not good though. Also, I've used the same pillow for awhile but just recently my neck has been really sore...
  • When I first started my second trimester, nothing would help me sleep. It took me a few weeks to get any good sleep. Now, I use a pillow behind my back, one between my legs, and one under my head. Sometimes I put a small one under my belly but that only depends on how he's sitting in the belly.

  • If I sleep in my bed I tend to wake up on my right side with my knee basically touching my chin.....ugh she doesn't like to let me sleep....and my support is her farther who jokingly told me I'm not aloud to wake him up in the middle of the night so I told him if I couldn't sleep neither will he......and I basically fell asleep right after that.
  • My Dr told me to take that cos at 8 weeks I was having a terrible time sleeping. But I only take it when I go days wih little sleep but it really doesn't help. Plus I get horrible headaches. nd have to go to a neurologist to see if I have chronic migraine. But my day is telling me I might have a low blood pressure and sugar level...but soon time will tell at my next Dr appointment.
