Call your dr, but I think tylenol, drinking something cold, and taking a shower are all remedies I've heard. They shouldn't bring you to tears though and the stinging in your cervix sounds more like real labor, I think.
Drink a couple large glasses of water and change your activity level. If you are up, lay down on your left side, if you are laying down, get up and walk around a little bit. You could try a relaxing bath as well. If you have more than 5 in an hour you should call your doctor to be safe
