Was your delivery like your moms?

For those who have already had a baby :X You know how you hear that your experience will typically be like your mom's....like if her labors were really quick you should "hurry to the hospital." Anyways, has that been true, or not, for any of you? Just wondering if that's been true for anyone!

I think its true, my mom barely made it to the hospital. She said my head was already coming out by the time they got her on the gerney. With my son I was only in labor for 4 hours n I only had to push like 3 times until my bby boy came into this world. But I dont know if my grandmas labor went by fast.

If this is true I will have a long and painful labor god I hope not my mom went through 22hrs of straight contractions and ended up having a c section because my heart stopped I had to have my heart jump started when I was born I pray for it to b no where near that

Usually they will not let u be in labor that long anymore if Ur water has already been broken and if u are not making steady progress due to risk for infection or worse..

Not true completely different .... both mine ended in emergency csection .... my mom's labors were easy.
