I know a few of u were saying u were drinking milk for heartburn cuz u can't use tums/antacids...I don't have that issue but I did run out of tums lol and as my throat felt like hot lava my mil suggested peppermint candies...they are not perfect but do bring some relief..hope it helpsfor some of u who can't take theother stuff! Ya me too but a couple of the girls can't have them cuz of liver issues I was just trying to be helpful!

My doc gave me prilosec and haven't had a problem since... before that I was maxing out on Tums.

Omg I have heartburn almost all day, everyday and it sucks!!!! The only thing that helps me are tums.. I've gone through four bottles so far, my baby isn't going to lack for calcium lol. I did hear that if you try drinking water right after eating them that it will do the opposite effect.. I've also heard that vinegar helps with hb but haven't tried it.. Milk doesnt help with my hb at all.. Hope I helped and sorry if I didn't.. But good luck!!!

Well my mom said she had drunk soda and kept burping. Maybe that will help. And she had heartburn like crazy!

Yogurt, and a small amount of milk choco will help if u cant take tums,,, it coats ur mouth and stomic,(sp)? If I run out of tums they both really help me,,

I was taking tums also I had really bad heartburn all day everyday until I told my ob I was practically taking half the bottle she said ur not suppose to take more than 4 a day cause they can make u pass kidney stones so she just prescribed me some pills

Too ma@y of them (the max allowed in a day per the bottle) lol was causing me constpation so to cut back I have rotaed tums milk and pepermint..works great! Good luck girls!
