contractions?

So I'm 40 weeks 2 days and I am having some cramping in my low abdomen. It's a little painful and very uncomfortable. I been having this since maybe 9 pm and its now 1:35ish am. Should I be timing these? I'm a ftm so I have no clue what contractions feel like. These aren't like BH, more like bad period cramps that come and go. ??? :-S

yes, time them. the way i could describe it is it felt like i had to go #2 lol

@Lilloulou @cee808 thank you ladies. I timed them they were about 10 mins apart and didn't get stronger. I actually fell asleep on them. And lol @cee808 at first I thought I had to go #2 also. Lol

But I have another question, tmi but I woke up with a big glob of booger thing in my underwear. it even soaked thru my yoga pants so I had to change. It was pretty gross but didn't have any blood or anything just snot looking. Eww! I know...could it have been my mucus plug? or does it have to be bloody looking?

sounds like ur mucus plug.. but i can'ttell u much because with my previous pregnancies i have never lost it at home.. or noticed if i did lol
