I bought a crib, mattress, and sheets today and I haven't felt this happy in a while.
I'm just happy and wanted to share. I bought it used, athough it was never used, its mahogany and it came with the mattress. Its practically new with a scratch here and there from what seems like transportation. Then I went and bought sheets. We don't know the gender yet so we got sage sheets and I figure we'll replace them soon enough. I didn't want a bedding set as half the things they come with are useless like bumbers or a quilt. Also opened a savings account that my dad gave me the money for. He is so sweet. Hopefully in time I'll be able to save enough to get him/her a cd for when they turn 18/go to college. I felt so happy buying that crib, I don't even know what it is that makes me happy about it, I'm excited that I'm so close to meeting him/her and I feel accomplished and like everything is slowly falling into place.
I also felt a little change in me today. I've been so worried that I'm not mommy material but today I felt like maybe the mommy I'm going to be just might be good enough.

@kay_la_la I keep going up to the crib and just staring at the middle of the crib where I'm imagining my baby will be and I just can't stop staring in awe.
@everyone Thank you again, it really is so exciting I just can't wait. Sometimes when I'm feeling down I just look at my belly and I smile. It just happens. I can't help but feel so much love for this child already. I'm glad you ladies feel the same
