cramping

So I've been having cramping period like pains thru my lower abdomen and back since 630 pm yesterday non stop and its still there,I'm 36 weeks and 2days.have any of you ladies felt this. I called my doctor and I'm going in at 2 to get checked. Just wanted to know has anyone experienced this?
