Bumpy rides

I am 23 weeks + 5 days with our first child. My husband is a wheat harvester and we are currently out west harvesting wheat. I am concerned about riding in the combine in the field and pulling a trailer behind my pick up when we move to a different city, because it's so bumpy. My husband doesn't seem to understand that I don't think it's safe to get bumped around a lot. However, I am getting really bored with sitting in a hotel room all day alone, because I can't go to the field. Anybody have any idea how bad bumps really are for you when prego?

Thanks. I asked my OB before coming out here if it was ok I came and they said yes. But, then again they have been known to be wrong and not many people know what wheat harvesting actually entails. I have read some stuff on other sites that people have said that bumpy car rides, etc. have put them into pre-term labor and other women say they have had no problem with it. So, it's hard to decide what to do. lol
