can you change the way he treats you?

I have known my husband ....(currently seperated) since I was sixteen. I am almost 33 now. I have put up with a lot of his behavior along with mistreating me for a long time. I always used the excuse that "he is young and immature" "he'll grow out of it". Needless to say I am 7 1/2 months pregnant now with our 3rd baby even though I left him over a year ago because he cheated on me drinks to much and and failed at his business which got us in 100,000 Tax debt......Obviously he's a A**Hole.......but I want to know is once you have aloud such disrespect from someone is there ever anyway to change how they treat you......because I am killing my self trying and its frustrating:(

I'm of the opinion that some people will never change. If he's spent years treating you badly, he's probably not going to change now. How long have you been separated? Have you tried counseling?
