unterine rupture??

Anyone experienced or know of anyone that's had a uterine rupture after trying a v-bac?? That's the risk of a vbac and it can be fatal for mom and baby? I was thinking about doing this cause I wanted to try natural but, just trying to see about other experiences. No negitivity please!

I heard its 1% I think I'm going for a vbac too. Obviously not everyone it happens to dies. My doctor has said they will continually monitor my labour and they know signals which can indicate if it happens. The risk increases (although still only slightly) if inducing drugs are used so I have refused these

@littlenat86 how does dr feel about it? My dr is totally against it, which is the only thing I don't like about her! This will be ny 3rd baby and if I go thru with it my first natural labor! ! Idk what to do. I'm scared. :-(

Have you had two c-sections? My doctor positively encouraged it to be honest, shocked me a bit as I think c-sections are pushed out of easiness sometimes now. I also have other health problems so its not as straight forward as an ordinary vbac. How far along are you? Have you looked at other doctors in your area?

Yes I've had 2 cesareans 2yrs apart and now I'm 28wks with my 3rd baby. I thought about looking at other docs but didn't cause I like my doc, and am comfortable with her, besides this. Huhh boggled brain right now!!
