How would you describe your labor? My baby could be here any day now so I'm curious what to expect, I've heard like poop pains x100 but I'm just curious to see how some women would describe how it feels
Mine felt like I really had to go to the bathroom with some menstral cramps.. I would relate it to pooping for me because I have been so constipated that it hurt when it came out (tmi I'm sorry )
I would say a mix of upset stomach & menstrual cramps, x1000. But it's definitely worth it & you really DO forget how hard it is eventually... my first was 3 years ago & I can barely remember the pain.
I went about 15 hours w/o anything, then they gave me pitocin & I lost control of the contraction pain & got an epidural. It was just about worn off when I delivered, but that part didn't hurt near as bad for me as the 15 hours of back labor! My little angel was 9lb 4oz, lol...
my labor was easy, the contractions were nothing like what people say! if you breathe thru them they are bearable! lol my belly button popped out the same day i went into labor lol and i had many very loose BM (tmi sorry) the whole day before but thought i just ate something funny didnt take it as my body cleaning itself out for labor. and the next day my water broke. 10 hours of labor after my water broke and an hour of pushing and my son was here sept 6th 2010 7 lbs and 19in long my little prince charming gooooood luck! sending healthy baby and easy labor dust your way
When I got my first contractions I kept going to the toilet because I felt like I had to poop n nothing came out. Then they got stronger n stronger... I went to the hospital at 3cm and asked for my epidural and I was crying while I had to wait lol
@cee808...me 2!.. Mine pretty fast and easy...BUT my contractions did hurt...were all different... But seriously thought i had to poop the whole time...keep goin to the bathroom trying to..but i was actually pushing my son out! Only went to the hospital Cus i started bleeding a little, but my water didn't break water... Got to the hospital was 9cm..had no time for an epridril ..Got on the bed, they broke my water and I pushed him out! And i was all done...so i thought i forgot about the placenta...but that just slides right out..
@beatrice1436 lol I woke up in the middle of the night n I kept sitting on the toilet n my mom was like "ur in labor" I was like "no I'm not I just gotta make doodoo" haha how did u make it 9 cm.without going to hospital lol
@cee808.... I have no clue!!! I wouldve had him in my bathroom...if i kept pushing...my water didn't break so i didn't wanna go and get sent home like they do all the time on pregnancy shows..
@beatrice1436 ohh my water never broke at home either they had to break mines. Don't wait too long with this baby because second labors are usually way faster!
Yes- it made the contractions 10x stronger & more painful immediately; there was no progression to that point; it was like someone flipped a switch in me!!! I am DEFINITELY refusing pitocin this time unless I'm stuck at the same spot for 24hrs.
@vette_devil thanks for that warning. I watched the business of birth and saw how it can stress out the baby. I'm trying to get my labor to start naturally lol

@vette_devil I have heard that a lot, pitocin must be some strong stuff lol.
It was only like 2 hrs of trying to go..off and on...it was a fast labor /delivery
