Stitches bleeding TMI

I had a second degree tear and had to get quite a few stitches. Its been a week and idk if its normal but after I clean up down there or even after a sitz bath ill pat dry that area and notice the area with stitches always bleeds. Its not bad a few blood spots always end up on the rag or cloth I use.

I bled from my c-section inscision (sp) for a little while. My doc said it was normal. I would think its normal as long as its not swollen, red or you find puss. I would call the doc and ask. It never hurts to ask.
