So angry/happy for my friend!!! Not sure what I would do if I were her!!

My husbands co worker and I have become good friends. My husband and I were so excited for her and her hubby because she recently found out she was pregnant and of course being pregnant I want everyone else to be pregnant too lol well we heard a week or two ago she had a miscarriage and we were so sad for her. Well the doctor sent her home told her the signs to watch for and what was going to happen but it never did so she went back in to prepare for a d&c thank God they did another ultrasound because they found a heart beat!!! Turns out the tech had mistaken a cyst she had for the baby and said there was no hear beat!!!!! I would have been so livid!!! Not sure what I would do if I were her!!! Such a mixture of emotions!!! Happiness that the baby is fine but boy oh boy such anger toward the first tech and first doctor!!!

    This is absolutely the most horrible kind of mistake someone could have made! I would be so angry too!!!

    omfg i would be livid!!! what if they hadnt done an ultrasound first?? im pissed off for her and i dont even know her!?

    That sounds like what happened to me last year..tech stated she didn't see a baby..they thought the baby was in my fallopian tubes..performed a laproscopy to remove my baby only to find a cyst on my ovaries and my baby was fine.unfortunately..I miscarried a month later..glad to hear her baby has a heartbeat, and techs need to make sure they are paying close attention to whats going on.. It would be hard preparing for a loss, but its definitely a blessing to know everything is okay (*)

    I know!!! Imagine the emotional roller coaster she was on especially all that time waiting to miscarry!!! I've had multiple miscarriages and its so emotionally draining I can't imagine sitting and waiting and worrying and all the time having a healthy baby!!!

    @kaylathering that's exactly what I was thinking!!! What if they had not checked again!!! How do you mistake a cyst for a baby?? You would think they would double check or ber extra careful when they are dealing with a pregnancy!!!

    @babiphatt86 oh I'm so sorry you had to go through that. And yes it is definitely a blessing but gosh what a mistake to be made.
