omg freaking out! help! anyone else had to do this!?

I'm 40wks +2 today and I have induction scheduled for Sunday . I went to my last dr appointment today and the dr had me do a nonstress test which was only supposed to take 20min but I guess baby wasn't responding like they wanted so it ended up being over an hour that they had me hooked up. Then based on the results the dr is sending me to the hospital for an emergancy ultrasound to make sure baby is doin okay! I am soooo worried. The dr said I don't need to stree but that I may need to be induced today if somthin is wrong.

Omg I am so worried how am I not supposed to stress everything has been fine up until now! Anyone else have this happen to them!?

I'm headed to the hospital in 30 min ill keep you all posted! The reason they are so concerned is cuz I guess there was a couple of dips in his heart rate. He ranged from 87bpm to 167 so I hope its just cuz he is getting ready . At least I don't have to go into work today!

Good luck! I'm 36 wks and went through the same thing yesterday. They ended up keeping me and doing the ultrasound this morning which didn't come back as well as my dr. would like so I'm still here playing the waiting game! At least you're full term...I'm sure everything will work out for you!

Just got done with the ultrasound and everything went fine. He wasn't moving as much in the beginning which made me worry but then he went crazy once she poked him to wake him up. I even saw him practicing breathing!

I am so very relieved! Thank u all for your prayers and wishes I really think they helped!

Now I just have to wait till Sunday to meet my lil man

I had this last month @40+4 an ultrasound and nst..Jaden's was 30m but was fine. I went 8days overdue and was induced, during the induction he dipped but the midwife had me on all fours with oxygen and he was again fine. I hope you have a safe delivery too

I bet it was head compressions. Sometimes baby has decels in heart rate during contractions when his/her head is fully engaged. Hopefully nothing big, but don't stress. Maybe they'll get the ball rolling!
