full moon?

Okay so my due date was today. Other than some crazy cramps, diarrhea, what might've been my mucous plug and clayton painfully kicking up a storm...I don't see it happening tonight. However...my fiance's grandmother swears up and down I will go into labor on the full moon, which is supposed to be at 1:48 in the morning. Anyone else heard of this/believe in it?

I told his Nana I'm way over getting my hopes up at this point, but she keeps swearing over and over again he'll come in the morning. She even loaded my hospital bag, diaper bag, and car seat in the car. She also told all her friends that she would have her great grandson by tomorrow. I don't want to get my hopes up but I can't help it? What should I think?? :/

    I have no idea ? I hear about full moons a lot but I don't really believe because its just a full moon..

    It is worth a try for me. I will be the crazy pregnant woman standing outside in the middle of the night. It's something about the gravitational pull or something. My due date is the 15th (tmrw)

    Her reasoning is that she worked on the l&d floor for (too many darn years to count) and on the full moon every room was full and they constantly delivered babies all night. Buuuut I don't know. I'm hoping like crazy he comes lol but I'm a bit tired of getting my hopes up then being all "awww man...." when nothing happens lol

    @jcmommy: maybe i'll just stand outside all night talking to the moon. Telling it to get this baby outta me! Lol. Oh the crazy things I've done to meet this baby boy...

    @beaded_bunny: I did that everytime I did a natural induction thing at home...I was always saying "Look this is going to work! Hells yeah!" And it never did but we'll see this time :D

    I also worked in l&d for almost 5 years and everytime there was a full moon we were full of babies and most times we would not have enough rooms...it os so very true!!!!

    @neek: I've had cramps all day and pains from him moving but no contractions I don't think. Its my first baby so I'm not at all positive lol.

    I have never heard of it, but it makes sense since all l&d nurses i talk to always talk about the full moon and actually set up extra places ahead of time because so many women go into labor.
