OK so I pumped and the milk is not only pink but when it settles its hot pink making it not look like blood? Infection @homebirthadvocate

Sounds like serratia. It's a bacterial infection. I would go get it checked.

I saw an episode of "Mystery Diagnosis" a while back where this was happening. Maybe try googing that episode. I can't remember what they said it was but that it was pretty rare.
