L and D at 36 weeks

yesterday I ended up in l and d because of leaking fluid. had 3 doctors tell me I was leaking and pooling before the last one said I wasn't and sent me home. this took 4 speculum exams (including one that cut me). So today, still leaking, I went to my obgyn (where she did another speculum, OW! im very raw in there from yesterday) and she also said there was some fluid but it didn't fern on the slide so it wasnt amniotic fluid. so im leaking fluid from my cervix and they then start blaming it on a yeast infection. I have never heard of watery discharge from a yeast infection. and if they are wrong its been over 24 hours with my water leaking having a yeast infection, uti, and im Group B positive. im frustrated.

I had the same exact thing happen with my daughter 9 yrs ago at 36 weeks also. I went to the dr 3 days in a row because I was leaking fluid. It was enough to wet my panties and my theighs. They did a fern test and it came back neg so they kept sending me home blaming it on a cist. Finally on the 4th morning I woke up in a pool of water. Went down the stairs crying because I didn't know what to do. I started to bare down a little bit and whoosh my water busted everywhere. I was also group b positive. Everything was fine though. I know how upsetting this can be. But look at the bright side... your getting ready to meet your little one I would say its definatly your water.. keep me updated and goodluck!

They were going to keep me yesterday and induce but because the one doctor out of 4 said I wasn't they told me to go home. I was so mad! But now im going to try bearing down all the time!

also..when i went to the doctor today the people in the room next to me got sent to the hospital to have there baby..talk about annoying

Hey hun @firstbabygirl19 , im 35 weeks and i just left a 5 day stay at the hospital.... i also had fluid leakage. I was checked as well and my test came back negative. I was even covered in fluid one time and they tested it to make sure it wasnt urine. The dr's told me i was just leaking fluid... so i understand ur frustration cause they couldnt explain to me where it was coming from either, just that it wasnt amniotic fluid!
