Same here! I don't think imma do the mirena anymore. I don't like the shot. It made my hair real thin. I was thinking the type if bc they put n ur arm.
implanon I think is what you ladies are talking about, but I don't know anyone who has ever used it.. lol.. sadly I'm going with permanent and getting tubes tied. I hate the patch, the pills suck, and depo just made me fat.. I think I would try implanon or the nuva ring...
I am scared of mirena now too read to many horror stories. I don't like horomone bc like the pill I believe. I will most likely stick with the trusty old rythymn method hasn't failed me yet.
Ive only ever known of one person to have implanon. She went kinda...weird crazy. idk if it had anything to do with it though. It sent her hormones wild and made her emotions really erratic. Course maybe she was just undiagnosed bipolar =p
My hubby is getting a vasectomy. We've used condoms for years because hormonal bc makes me gain weight. I would ask your dr about their experiences with Mirena...I've read a lot of negative things about it, but everyone I know who has it in real life loves it.
Has anyone ever heard any complaints from people who got their tubes tied? That's what im wanting to do but I don't know if there are any side effects or anything
@beautifulone u have to keep the nuva ring in place ...or it doesn't work... adjusting it would seem.like a pain in the ass to me. N a big worry tht it wasn't inplace.
I also had nuva ring and I hated it. It never fell out but it always fell down. I could see it with a hand mirror. And that made it hurt. I always had to push it back into place it was such a hassle
