Cravings...

How far along were you when you started getting cravings? And what were some of your cravings?

  • I had more aversions than cravings. Actually, now that I think about it, I don't think I've really "craved" anything. I'm a marathon runner usually, so my eating habits are usually "craved" induced I suppose. So, I guess I'm not a good person to answer this question. Sorry I wasted your time.
  • I want taco bell now!

I don't really have cravings, and definitely nothing out of my ordinary, or at weird times. I just sometimes want something at a reasonable time. Like I want a number 8 from tacco bell right now, maybe with a couple of extra tacos :) but I'm not gunna get it cause well, that's the story of my life, lol. I'm 34.5 wks.
  • I'm going through a jell-o phase right now but I only like the kind in the individual cups because the other kind always gets a skin on it and it makes me gag. Also, I'm really feeling this honeydew melon I've got.
  • Lol @ shaniam your funny. I was kind of thinking the same thing as I was replying.

  • @yaya: I think a lot of the "cravings" are just something you want to eat; like when you aren't pregnant. A lot of it is psychosomatic. Your body craves what it needs, pregnant or not. Pregnancy does give the wonderful "excuse" though of being to get away with it more right now! :-D
  • Lol yeah it does. But that's how I look at it its not really a craving just what you like or are wanting at the moment. @shaniam
  • I had a big thing for cherries...I ate some today and now I feel like I gotta throw up =/... I'll be 24 weeks Thursday and so far cherries and apple juice oh and pringles are the only things I've craved
  • I don't crave anything anymore since my second trimester started. In my first trimester I craved watermelon, I basically ate it everyday, and that was all my stomach could handle, purely ALL cold food only. So I ate chicken sandwiches, salads, and fruits. And a lot, a lot a lot of water.
