Medicaid question

I'm in Florida if it makes a difference...
When you are on medicaid for pregnancy does it just cover for pregnancy or does it cover anything else like dental or vision?

I think only until ur 21 for vision, not sure about dental. Its like that in ky anyway.

I have a plan inside of Medicaid that covers it. But I think its once a.year and under the age of 21. I'm not in Florida. Call and ask them.

Should cover glasses & exam. Dental should cover cavities, xrays& exams. Root canals only for front teeth I believe. I'm in IL. I got glasses for free. You should have a # to call so they can tell you wats covered & which dentist or eye doctor accepts the medicaid. You can also get free rides to & from your appts.

In OR you can get vision & dental free but it depends on which plan your on. Not age

I'm on Medicaid for pregnancy only, and it only covers pregnancy-related things. It doesn't cover dental, vision, etc. I'm in NC. Give your case worker a call to be sure.

Texas! U get covered mostly! Dental, eye, and i also have a womens medicaid separate for womens check up, pap, birth control. So i get 2 types of medicaids.

here in cali they covers the babies first three months but im only covered till my 6wk check up.. and even if you arent covered by insurence your child always has the option for the chdp program which covers shots and well baby checkups..
