Pineapple Juice to induce labor??

A friend just informed me that pineapple juice can indeed throw you into labor! Its supposed to ripen your cervix. That's crazy! ..just thought I would share since I would much rather try that than castor oil!!!

    No fresh pineapple is all natural...the juice tht i had was not.... I did trt the fresh pine today n it only burnt my tounge from eating so much.....

    I would try it but I hate pineapples. And we got so much here in hawaii.. The smell of it makes me gag LOL

    Lol! It was something different to try! I just don't think I ever could do the castor oil! Yuck!

    I read that mango n papayas do the same..i love those fruits :)

    I have pineapple mango juice both of those r suppose to help I havnt tried it yet but I might just go get a glass now :) lol my appt is tomorrow n I would love to hear that I am more the 1 n 1/2 cm dialated n more then 50% effaced which is Wat I was last Thursday

    I drank it the day before I went into labor with my daughter @ 37 weeks. Worked for me and I'm definitely gonna try it this round.

    @maribelg I'm not totally sure how it works, I just heard about it myself.. but, if you like pineapple juice then I dont see the harm in trying! Lol.
