induction

I have decided that to many inductions have ended in stalled labor resulting in c sections thatcim just gonna let baby roo come when (s)he is ready to make his/her entrance. And if Roo is not here by 41+ weeks then induce me but not before then.

    Same here. My dr is willing to let me go to 42 weeks as long as everything is fine health wise

    I haven't even talked to my dr about it but i know this girl who is being induced on her due date, and my moms pastor's wife was induced tuesday and labored for 29 hrs just for it to end in a c section at 39 weeks cause her any was on the" bigger" size he came out 7 12 ill just let Roo come on his/her own terms. Ill have waited 40 weeks 2 more ain't gunna kill me.

    @mami_of2 im not saying all inductions end in c section but a majority of them do and i don't want to labor for hours just for it to end in a c section. If i labor natural for hours and hours and then it stall go ahead and cut me open but i want my body to be ready to have my baby not when its convenient for me or my dr. Not meaning to sound rude if i did. Sorry....

    I was actually thinking about doing induction because the hospital they had wanted me to go to was 2 hrs away...And I really didn't want to take the chance...but now I really don't think I want to. This is my first pregnancy and I'd rather just let her decide when she wants to come...Plus my sil was induced only to have a c-section 23hrs later because my niece just didn't want to get out. After that I was just like uhhh yea. I think I'll just let her decide her own due date.

    I think it's more special that way that they picked there birthday not sombody else out of convenience. Even with fast labor it should take more than 2 hours since this is your first. @rckprincess2
