Glass bottle are coming back around. With all the worries of chemicals from plastic bottles, companies are offering glass versions as well. I think its a good idea. I am breastfeeding, but when I buy bottles for when I go to work, I may buy glass ones this time around. Can't hurt anything
Ah I don't see the harm in using them.. I would pick plastic over glass if I was the one buying them but if my.mom got them for me I wouldn't mind.. I mean hey a bottle is a bottle
I would be careful if you do use them They could break -obviously- but I don't see why you couldn't use them as long as they are in good shape (no chips or cracks) and the nipples are in good shape (not dry rotted or chewed up). I'm assuming they are older since I haven't seen them sold anywhere. Granted I'm not a bottle expert and can only Really name 3 out of a few hundred brands of bottle.
my mom wanted me to get glass bottles with my first baby, she said they warm up and sanitise easier and can't melt. I never did use them so that's all the info I can give you. Sorry.
My sister uses glass and I plan to use glass I find them easier to clean and sanitize. I used to live with my sister so I have been around a lot of glass bottles. My sister has 3 kids and has never had a glass bottle break on her yet. She has dropped them banged them you name it. I have personally melted 2 plastic bottles trying to boil them lol. It's a personal choice but there is no harm in them and a lot of people find them safer with out the plastic chemicals.
