dark colored urine

I'm 29 weeks 2days and the past two days my urine usually in the morning is dark Orange colored and has a strong musky smell, then maybe 2 times yesterday it smelled too, but there is no burning when I pee, and today my stomach is kind of sore if that makes sense. The baby is active kicking and rolling. I called the doc but it could be an hour until they call back. Anyone in here know anything about this or have experienced this?

I'm bot sure, but normally if your pee is dark it means its very concentrated, meaning you don't have much water in your system. I'd try drinking more fluids while waiting for your call back.

Mine sometimes has a dark tinge. When that happens I know I haven't drunk a lot of water.

Mine is always dark.. even if I'm drinking water all day. The doctor hasn't ever said anything about it..

Yea usually during the day its lighter, and sometimes I notice it still has the funny smell just not as strong. I'm going to monitor my water today and make sure that im getting enough water in. It seems like my doc takes forever to get back to me.

@lucy_loo_288 does it ever have a funny smell?, mine usually is a little darker and my doc hasn't said anything.

My prenatals make my urine darker.

@OregonMama its not Orange colored all the time, like last night before bed it was really light almost clear , and yesterday it was normal most of the time. I hoping its just not getting enough water, and its nothing serious.

I think I'm going to request to be checked for a uti just to be safe. I don't have any symptoms but I worry alot.

Mines always darker in the am espicallly the first time I go you don't drink much water durring the night because your sleeping so it is more concentrated. Along with drinking more water eat watermellon it'll help. If you do have kidney issues drink lots of water eat watermellon and drink watermellon juice. I get stones usualy around evey 6mo to a yr there's somthing about watermellon that helps I'm still half asleep so I can't think of what it is

Mine is usually darker due to taking my pregnancy vit. And my doc asked me to have a double dose of iron as well. So i guess im loaded of lots of vit. For my body, thats why my urine has a darker color. With the smell.. hmm i dont think.mine smells funny but its a little bit different from my urine before. I got a bit of poor red blood cells so i was on double dose of iron. Are you taking any vit. Or iron supplements hun? Plus most of the ladies are right if youre not drinking enough water.. the color will absolutely darker than normal.

Mine is orange cause of my vits. It will get darker or lighter based on water intake but not by much.

I never notice a strong odor, but sometimes there is a faint smell..
