  • Aww thats rubbish... Im having Bella at the womens in liverpool (which im not happy about as its gone down hill loads) unless I go into labor when were in bradford in aug :-/ isnt there another birth centre you could go to?? x
  • @mummytuube i don't want baby at home either cos I'm literally in middle of no were if something goes wrong :( x

@lyndsay1983 i believe its only birth centre in our region :( x

stupid fluffing government spending OUR tax money on s**t!!!!!!!!
  • Ah no I'm sorry? Is it closing that quickly? I'm really lucky, Southend hospital has a great maternity dept but was watching panorama the other night and they were on about maternity wards closing when they are full. This would scare me as the other hospital at Basildon has had some problems and I've heard some horror stories :-(
  • @littlenat86 yeah it is :( they was going to try keep it open till Feb but due to low staff closing right away said from 5pm Friday will start letting mum's know, but when i went for a look round last month they said there not closing down, but in paper today said they are :/ yeah i watched that panorama to if Hull closed I'll be going Doncaster not going to any of others in East Yorks I'm hoping i go into labour at my mam's any way then I'll be at Donny one haha x
  • Ah that's a shame, especially as you liked it so much there. Can throw you a bit when stuff changes like that :-(
  • @littlenat86 yeah it can :( and I'll prob be tempted to have a epidural at hull royal cos you can't at jbc I'm going to cross my fingers that the papers are lying lol x
  • I hope so! Lol I have to have an early epidural as I have an allergy to the drugs they would give me if I needed an emergency c-section so they put one in early that they can top up if that happens. I must say after 34 hours last time it was a relief!!! I don't like the idea, mainly as I'm stuck on the bed then but I would rather that than what could happen! I say go with whatever you feel like, my midwife says don't have an awful labour just so you can say you did it naturally afterwards! I think you just go with the flow!
  • @littlenat86 yeah i think i will do now lol I'll just ask for a walk round hull royal cos wanna know what its like! 34hours fluffing heck! Hope I'm not in that long haha x
  • Lol 36 hours and 11 minutes in total!!! I was induced though and don't think that helped, won't be going through that again!! X
  • @littlenat86 fluffing heck!! well done you! lol yeah everyone i heard who gets induced takes longer my mate got induced at 9.30am yesterday had her about noon today! x
