carseats, travel systems.. need opinions FAST! im 36 weeks lol

I am 36 weeks pregnant and have yet to buy my daughter a carseat!! Lol I'm very indecisive.. but we are making a trip to babies r us this weekend and we're not leaving til we buy a carseat or travel system! So I had a couple questions.. what kind of carseat did you buy and what do like about it? What don't you like about it? What kind of travel system did you buy? Is it real heavy? I'm only 5ft and 100lbs (prepregnancy of course!) I was wondering if any of y'all have bought gracos flip it travel system?

I bought safety 1st onboard 35 priscilla from walmart, it has good reviews! I'm 36w too and I just got it in the mail the otherday, its sooo much prettier in person!

And I'm gunna get the "Clic It" to go with it (same as snap n go, but definitely fits ny carseat)

@caroline8_p ooooh! I was looking at that one but hubby said no he wants something gender neutral.. but it looks very pretty! Is it light? Does it fit well in your car?

It is pretty light. We don't have a car since we live in nyc, but I have to have a car seat to leave the hospital. Tell hubby, you can always order new fabric from the company to fit the same seat !!

I bought it blindly and soley from the reviews, I'm glad I did though. And its not bulky, it would have fit well in my car (before I moved here) and I had an 05 ford focus.

I got the older version of this: http://www.target.com/Eddie-Bauer-Trailmaker-Travel-System/dp/B003IW087M off of craigslist (it's got blue pinstripe instead of the red) but essentially the same and LOVE it. So easy to handle with it's one button open/close action for the stroller. And it doesn't feel cheap like a lot of the sets I've checked out.

I bought the graco travel system, which flips close with one hand. I love it. It's not super light, but its crazy sturdy, and stupid easy to use.

The baby trend is the one i have the carseat is really light and it has a triangle handle for easier carrying and there is about a million and one patterns. Me and hubby cant decide on one.
