@firsttimemommytobe although that would seem true, that first day of your last period was when your egg first started it's journey, it wasnt fertilzed yet but thats where the journey starts

Technically, lol you are 8 and a half because you are not really pregnant for the first two weeks of pregnancy. But it is considered 9 months just because of the way they calculate pregnancy.
