37w 5 d and a bad doc appt :( PLease Read

So i had a doc appt today and found out my platelet levels are low I have to see a hematologist next week to find out if they are going to wanna do a transfusion or any other posibilities. This is scary and a bummer at the same time. Low levels means no epidural for me :( Has anyone else ever gone through this???

    i havent been through it, but i guess i look at it as if it was really serious then they would have gotten you in today or tomorrow, right?

    She wanted me in there today but unfortunalty i have a crazy pcp who i am trying to replace but i have to wait on his referral... I am hopeful that everything will work out, I know better than to see the worst in everything!!
