preterm labor...again...

ok so i think im going to the hospital again...
i have taken my meds to stop contractions just now...
does anyone have any advice on what i can do to try to get them to stop??

ok well for those of u that care,
my contractions have slowed down to every 7 to 10 minutes so i will not be going to the hospital tonight as of now.

ok so i might b going in after all
im still having contractions although they are 10to11 mins apart
im getting sharp pains in my stomach tho
idk what is causing them
im drinking ice water as we speak to see if that will help

How far along are u? If ur not full term I think u should go in so u won't have any regrets later.update plz & stay calm mama:)

@Stevkam0911 im 34 weeks and this would b the forth time if i go in. im on meds to stop contractions right now thats y im waiting a bit

Stay in bed as much as possible and stay really hydrated.. maybe thatll help...?

i am on Nifedical XL for the contractions and its a dosage that should last 24 hrs @jamiesandefur
i am still having some contractions and still randomly getting sharp pains. i havent felt any pressure and i dont have any extra fluids or anything. im still drinking ice water and am running a warm bath right now
if things are still not getting better bythe time my bf has break at work im going to L&d

@jamiesandefur ya my meds work sometimes. but like right now, they shouldve kicked in already, but arent really working well.

Well make sure you go in because they say the medicine works to stop contractions but it wont stop real labor. I hope they stop!!!

That's what my Dr and specialist told me about all the medications that stop contractions.

ya they never said anything to me about it. im probably going in later tonight when my bf is able to get off work because things are still happening @jamiesandefur

I hope everything is OK I had a preterm. Pregnancy to with my daughter she was 35 weeks and now I'm on 17 p shots to keep this one from coming early and I get some powerful bh. Contractions. So I will pray everything goes OK for u I know what u r gong thru
