in l&d in preterm labor

I'm in labor and delivery in another city than my own, in labor. I'm here for a wedding I'm the maid of honor and just came to get checked out for some bleeding. Been diagnosed in full blown labor and a d being monitored and going to get some steroid shots and some medication to stop my contractions. I'm maid of honor in the wedding and I am so sad I am missing everything. I also am having to spend the night aways from my daughter for the first time and I'm so sad. I'm in tears. I'm scared for my son and I just want my husband and my daughter here.

im 34 weeks and may b going in tonight for the forth time if my meds dont kick in soon

Praying for you!!! I'VE had 2 pre-term labor scares since 28 weeks. I'm 31weeks tomorrow. I've heard good things about the steroids and IV they give you to stop labor. Hang in there!!!:)

Thank you all. I'm still here they were going to realease me cause my contractions stopped, buuuuuttttt my cervix length went from a 4 to just under a 3.. which is bad.. so I am still here.. hungry And waiting to see what they are going to do.
