im gonna be stuck at 3cm forever

I've been at 3 cm going on 4 days with tons of contractions. I was so sure I made progress yesterday contractions were 2 to 3 min apart for hours. I'm thinking I did but the nurse doesn't really know what she's doing. I had her my first time in to l&d and it took her a long time to find my cervix and it hurt a lot. 30 minn later the dr came in and checked said I was at 3 but still thick but it didn't hurt. The 2nd nurse I had the 2nd night there she found it right off the bat said still 3 but soft and I didn't hurt. I had the first nurse again last night it took her forever to find the cervix again and it hurt like crazy. Said there was no change but I think she might be wrong. Contractions have slowed down but gotten stronger. I wish I could check myself so I don't have to guess and get sent home again. I have to move next sat se needs to come out

I have been at 2cm for three going on four weeks its frustrating been having contractions n everything the whole time but no progress. I hope u have better luck then me

Well at least yall know how far you are my dr wont check me because i havent been feeling contractions... Or dont know if i have(i can feel my tummy tighten but its not uncomfortable or painful...

@jalem id be telling him I was having contractions just so id get checked. Sounds like you are having some with that tight tummy. How's your pain tolerance normally?

when are you due? I Too have been at 3CM since 36 weeks and will be 39 this week so frustrating, no contractions yet either

Recommended by my doctor said walk a lot and have a lot of sex....

@cantunez2028. I walked so much yesterday got the contraction to 2 min apart but didn't do anything else. As for sex not gonna happen my pelvic bone is so sore I cand hardly move I almost in tears just trying to roll over

@camommy pretty high... And i tell her about the tightening of my tummy but she said if it doesnt hurt that im probably not progressing

@camommy I'm due between the fourth n the seventh of Aug. They stripped my membranes on Thursday but havnt had much change.... I hope ur little one is ready to come out soon. I hope mine is as well cause my tummy n tail bone r killing me!
