External Version Questions

I was just wondering for those ladies that have had this done, how far dilated were you if any? And for you experts like @Homebirthadvocate, is it possible to be dilated too far to have a version? How far would that be? Any insight would be wonderful. Thanks everyone!

I had one at 37+2 weeks. I was only about 1cm dilated.

I am 4 cm dilated. 36 weeks. They said they weren't going to stop me after 35 and here I am at 36 weeks. Now they say they have to stop them because she is breech. I'm so mad. :-( my doc doesn't seem to care she is breech. She hasn't tried anything or even made an Appt to.

I'm so upset. They are giving me terbutaline to stop the contractions. They say that is the same medication they use during the version so I think I will ask for a version before we leave today. If I'm already on the medication then why not right?

Thanks. I didn't even think of that. Is it normal to be super sick while in labor? Like bad diarrhea and nausea?

So good news. Doc came and did an exam and said she felt a noggin. I'm so excited. She sent me home to get contractions more regular but I couldn't be happier. She is head down yay!!!
