I went to the doctors took a pregnancy test came out positive doctor examine me n said I was at 10-12 weeks we tried to hear the heart beet but no luck am I really pregnant ? When can u hear the heart beat ? Could she b wrong

Heart beat should be detected ard 5 weeks. Mine was detected at tt time... perhaps u can go for a 2nd opinion.

Ano in uk they dnt usually check heartbeat till afta 17 weeks using a doppler I think its called cuz midwives say its hard to find it if ur unda 17 weeks and using the doppler. Hope that helps a little. Think only way for u to be sure is ultrasound x

I was told around 9 weeks but also it can be hard to find depending on how the baby is positioned

I heard the heathbeat when i was almost 6 wks they did vaginal ultrasound

Don't worry when doc did n ultrasound he told me that I might not hear it n I was about the same
