for moms who plan to bottle feed

What brand of bottles do you plan on/ are using? I used the nuk brand with my 1st, was trying to decide if I wanted to put them on my registry or try something else. I plan on breast feeding and pumping because my husband wants to feed her like he did our son.

  • I'm hoping to mainly breastfeed, but I learned with my other 3 things come up. So...we are going to try the first years breastflow. They have good ratings. We used Playtex dropins with our 1st...was all she would take. 2nd used Playtex centaur, and our son would only use the avent.
  • I Have Avent & First Years Im A FTM So Im Clueless On The Best Brand
  • Im using playtex drop ins.
  • I mostly breastfeed, but I use Dr browns with my first I'm not so sure what now I want to try avent
  • My son's a month old today :)
He had no problems with the playtex drop ins. The liners are a pain to buy each week but they reduce colic, are pre steralised and make cleaning easier.

  • I breastfeed and pump. Have nuk, dr browns and the parents choice from walmart. Honestly I like the parents choice the best. The do not leak around babies mouth.
  • I got MAM I'm also breastfeeding and pumping for daddy to feed her
  • I am trying playtex ventaire advanced this time around cause all my kids had colic and reflux. hoping these bottles help
  • Playtex drop ins :)
  • im a ftm and i think im going to use the first years breast flow... ive heard a lot of good things about them.... i plan to breastfeed and pump
  • Think I might try the first years bottle. :)
  • yea ive heard lots of good things about them because it makes the baby use the same type of like suction and everything that they do when you are breastfeeding... i went to target today and checked them out the starter pack and its only like 19.94 or somthing like that and it comes with good stuff then the double electric pump is only 79.99 imma see if they have any coupons or something cause im always looking for them sales girl lol
  • I used advent but they did leak a lot I had no clue it wasn't normal until my sil told me about Playtex drop ins my mom agreed they worked much better so ive bought them for this baby heard a lot of great things about Dr.brown's as well but the cost is way to much
  • I pump too for the same reason. I got Tommee Tippee bottles. I still want to breastfeed too sometimes. I dried up at about 6 mo w my boys bc I exclusively pumped
  • @newmomma13 let me know if you find any
  • I did research on the bottles and the #1 bottle for mothers that wanted to BF and bottle feed were the Adiri Natural Nurser....it has the highest reviews the negative is you have to tip it upside down to feel them, which some mothers found to be a pain. The second ranked bottle was first year breastflow, which is what I am going with. Had high marks as well, some parents complained of leakage.
