My milk came in on day 4 and I was engorged with huge boobs and I got a new bra and everything bc mine didn't fit anymore. Well I even pumped some to help with the discomfort. Well little man's appetite has gone up, my boobs still drip but they aren't big and hard....is this suppose to happen? I just hope my milk isn't stopping

They should feel full when its time to feed but they won't be rock hard like when your milk first came in.:)

Yeah, the swelling & engorgement do go away after a few days. Thank goodness!

You have to breastfeed I would say more than eight times a day and u will never have a low supply of milk

They won't be hard and huge when your boobs produce the amount your baby eats. Mine did the same thing they were never hard or huge when they figure out how much milk I was using. My doc told me to pump if I'm afraid I'm not producing enough and to listen for baby making swallowing noises.

Glad you asked because I was wondering the same thing! I'm thinking of trying some Mother's Milk Tea soon, just in case. I haven't pumped yet, but plan to soon. My son turned 2 weeks yesterday.

My son is a few days shy of six weeks and I usually don't feel rock hard anymore unless we both sleep for a long time in between feedings. I worried that it wasn't enough, too, but he gulps away like he's never going to eat again! Your milk is just adjusting to Baby's appetite.
