No alcohol or caffeine. Some foods can affect the taste apparently bananas do, and spicy foods! You should just keep your diet really healthy as it takes a lot of calories to produce milk. Also always get a glass of water/juice etc as you sit to feed, you will get thirsty during a long feed!
You should get "what to expect the first year" I've been reading it and it covers all of that. I've also heard "the womanly art if breastfeeding" is good, but the name sounds way to liberal for me to read.
No Broccoli for me! I ate it two nights ago and my little one was up with a stomach ache for over two hours! It was the same with my first, but I forgot.
