my roomate wants.nothing to do with her newborn!!

My roomates mom just informed me that she isnt bonding with the baby and she doesnt want to feed her when it comes to feeding time. Nor does she feel like holding her bundle of joy. How can I help her?? She comes home from the hospita tomorrow.

    She has her bf at the hospital and hes been doing everything. He will even ask her to hold or feed the baby and she just says she doesnt feel like it. Im not sure who can talk to her.

    I would let her mom know to talk to once of the nurses & doctors at the hospital before they release her so they can get her some help because if it is postpartum depression the doctors need to know so they can treat her and baby the right way.

    If she's still on the hospital why hasn't bf or the mom mentioned this to the nurses & dr before she leaves?? Better off to get help while she's still there than later.

    Yeh ill still tell her that, and ill wait till tomorrow to hear from her bf.
