Thanks for suggesting the minipill. I didn't even know it existed, and I think that actually might worry for me. Willing to try it. otherwise, I don't know what i'll do.
Was on continuous Yaz but if I would start spotting, it would turn into a dead period and wouldn't stop unless I took the inactive pills. Decided to stop taking it all together after having a month-long period, and was going to start up again after a couple months. Whabam, baby. Well, we were getting kinda crazy and my hormones were going nuts and BD said he didn't care about a condom; "bring on the baby!" Hahaha.
Hated everything else I've been on. My problem with combination pills is that they make me go crazy after a couple months. I can't even remember how many I've been on. Hated the patch because part of it would fall off when it was placed in less visible places (then my mom hated looking at it in more visible places). I was thinking about the ring for awhile but I was afraid of it falling out, and my cousin told me it game out during sex. Never, ever going to do depo. My sister apparently went super crazy and gained a lot of weight with that, and everyone else I've known on it just said they never stopped bleeding. Would have considered an IUD but I've read of too many people on here having cysts and reproductive trouble afterward. Sticking something in my arm doesn't sound fantastic either. Also, pulling out is way too much of a risk. Done that. Then waiting for your period to get there is like a heart attack. It's way too easy for sperm to be left inside, whether it's from earlier sex, days before then, or even him getting off on his own.
If I don't like how the minipill is going, I might have to switch to a different method or go back to regular bc pills. or maybe we'll just have to stop having sex. I know being on birth control for years and years isn't good for anyone. =/
I wish we could just turn off a switch and turn it back on when we want kids again! Lol.
I got the Implanon today. The procedure wasn't that bad jus the numbing shot hurt like a BITCH!!! But my arm is sore like someone punched me really hard. So far so good. But if u r afraid of needles I advise u not to get it. The needle is I think a lil bigger then a 10 guage hallow needle.
