Its really no worse than a pap. They will open you up, use a vinegar solution on your cervix to show the abnormal cells. If they see any abnormalities, they will scrape the abnormal cells to send to biopsy. I can't tell you how many colpo's I have had. It's really nothing to worry about. If the biopsy comes back as a high grade abnormality they will then schedule you to have them removed. Good luck- you will be just fine!
