  • Yeast infection. Take her in and the doctor will diagnose and prescribe something for it. She might say bump cause its itchy and so are bugbites.
  • It could be a yeast infection. She might not of wiped well or forgot the front to back rule. Also if you are using the can-do wipes (or a similar brand) the scent or cleaning lotion might of iratted her girl parts. :( poor thing I hope she feels better.
  • Little girls can get yeast infections from bubble bath.

  • Thanks @everyone i think it may have come from her whiping wrong because i dont help her im trying to teach her that no one should be touching her down there so i let her whipe and wash herself when i give her baths i dont put soap in the water so i dont think that did it...its gonna be really werid taking her to the doctor because hes a guy and hes gonna be looking down there...any tips on how to let her no its ok for the doctor to check her
  • My daughter is 3 and I went through this very recently. My pediatrician said white creamy discharge us normal at this age. White discharge is not a cause for a concern unless its chunky. However its from improper hygiene BC our little ladies do not usually thoroughly wipe so it makes smell and bacteria.
Granted this may not be the case with your lil one but I would not be overly concerned. My Dr said with little ladies we need to keep an array of meds on hand monistat (use externally only) anti itch cream and a form of prescription cream....
My Dr prescribed "ketakonzole" it really helped and it has reoccurred and the fact that she has a chunky cookie and big thighs and gulf coast heat and humidity sucks.
Just soak her in a bath with baking soda, no soaps down there, wipe and dry her well down there and throughout the day offer to wipe her with a wet wash cloth after potty time.

Good luck mommy. Its normal. Not necessarily common but Normal

For the examination my Dr sent in a female however she showed me to only pull her bottoms down to her ankles so she didn't feel undressed and had me "open" (spread) her labia for visual examination. She never tpuched my daughter, which was comforting to her. My daughter knows only mom should touch her and it should never hurt or make her sad.
