Ugh! Bed rest, possible pre e

Soooo, had some lack of fetal movement last night so we headed in to L and D to check it out. Of course we get there and he starts moving like crazy, but they take my blood pressure and it's 168/88 with swollen ankles. Kept me overnight and started a 24 hour urine collection. My blood pressure did gradually go down to between 125/68 and 135/80 after a couple hours and no other symptoms of pre e. So I'm hoping that my blood pressure was just up and everything comes back fine when we go back in to turn in the "sample" and get results tonight. Any similar experiences or any thoughts welcome. I have to work...I can't b on bed rest....scared.

PS they did an ultrasound and YIKES! I'm 29 +3 and he is already 3.9 pounds?!!! Um......(insert grimace here) Love my lil boy and glad he's healthy, but I'm a lil scared lol

    Hopefully you dont have pre eclampsia. I had it and it sucked. Good luck mama! Tag me when you get the results!

    Thanks ladies, @maymommy and @jcbowker how far along were u when you got it and how long did you make it before delivery? I'm only 29+3...

    I got it at 32 weeks, they induced me at 37 weeks.

    Ok, so I don't have Pre e (YAY!) but I do have high blood pressure, which I guess can turn into Pre e. So for now I'm still at work thank goodness. I'm hoping to make it at least to 34 weeks as my management position at my job is only protected for 12 weeks. But whatever is best for my little man...

    Aw im glad that you dont have it! Thank you for updating me. Lets hope it doesnt turn into pre eclampsia now! I got it when I was 38w 5d and since I was full term I was induced. I had so many complications tho.my son was face up gring on my pubic bone trying to come out.it took over an hour with two anestetics to put my epidural in. then the epidural didnt help much so I was on c section strength in my epudural. So my dumb dr finally decided after two days of labor he was too big and also since I had pre e I shoukd have a c.section. I also had puppps rash, gbs positive and a uti. After I had him I had to have my gall bladder removed bc gallstone attacks. Worst pregnancy ever, but totally worth it :)
