allergic to soap
My sons now 2 weeks and 2 days old. A couple days ago my DH gave him a sponge bath with a wash cloth that was washed in tide free and clear. And the next day our sons poor lil face was broke out into one of the worst rushes I've ever seen. So I called our pediatrician who said to: A. Wash all his clothes in a new soap. And make sure to double rinse everything. And B. give him a bath with aveno sent free baby wash.
Now I have two issues, I was originally told to not use soap on his face. Would you interpret her instructions to mean wash his face with the soap? That's how I understood it but DH is questioning it....
And two- yes I admit up front I was dumb. I know both my dad and brother are very allergic to regular tide.... and I got a sample of the tide free and clear in the mail and should have tossed it but I figured I could use it on hubbys clothes. I didn't think he would decide to help with laundry and not only use the tide but mix our clothes with babys. But any way, I noticed that the rash is now spreading to his chest, is this cause for major concern?
