garage sale misfortune
I got the toddler some really cute board books at a garage sale yesterday and soon after waking this morning thought the dogs had peed all over my livingroom. The books reak of baby(?) pee I'm hoping they were stored next to a diaper trashcan or something and its a proximity stench cause the clothing I got from the same house are perfect. Is there anything I can do or try to salvage the books? Or call it karma messing with me for breaking my bedrest for an unnecessary reason?
Also the books don't have any buckling or bending as if they had been wet and the fluid allowed to soak in *I checked at the sale* which is why I didn't think to smell them there
