stomach feels flat when lying down

Hi, does this occur to u?
I feel huge when i stand up & my stomach becomes flat when i lie down....

At some points of the day my tummy is softer. At night is when it hardens..soo weird. He's more active at night as well

I'm 11w3d, and when I lay on my stomach I still don't feel anything. =( it just feels normal to me... is this a normal occurrance?? =(

Mythica: its fine...but when u get further along it'll be uncomfortable...gosh I miss sleeping on my belly lol

Mine used to do that but now my belly gets really hard and tight throughout the night! Its weird ... feels like my uterus or something actually starts sticking out further... then after I get up it goes back to normal... anyone know why??

I think maybe it's because your weight shifts when you lay down, like expanding down the sides where as when your standing up its resting on top of your pants and gravity takes hold but I could be wrong, I'm 15 weeks and I look huge standing up but when I lay down you almost can't tell hope everyone is having a good night!

I'm expecting my 5th child. Its because when you're lying down, the fetus falls towards your back, but when you're standing, it has nowhere but out to go. If you're short, you show sooner, as well as if its not your first. Best wishes!
